In interest of full disclosure: I do have an oddly specific request - when it comes to playing against teenage characters (19ish and under), I prefer male characters from live action or western animated/comic canons, not those from anime or jrpgs. This isn't a hard and fast rule, and there are exceptions, like Free! or Yuri on Ice. For older characters, there are no medium preferences.
